MayKindergarten
We have continued to work on our theme of exploration in Kindergarten by exploring our creativity. Some of the lesson we covered were the Very Hungry Caterpillar, and the Wing on a Flea. In the Very Hungry Catepillar, the students looked at illustrations as Eric Carle and explored the battern of how the butterfly came to be. Then they got to create their own drawing with a variety or parts that came together to create an item. For The wing on a Flea, students explored shapes and made one shape into a unique spring picture. First Grade
Our first graders have been had at work looking for patterns. We looked at animals that live at a water whole and the differ combinations of animal that could be there if we saw 26 legs. We also took what we learned about shape attributes and are learning the patterns of interview questions. We are preparing for our animal research projects in which we will interview other animals.
